Ridgeview Rolling Hills Ranch

Yearning to experience life in the great outdoors and the serenity of the Texas Hill Country? This ranch guest or vacation house is just about an hour or so drive from Austin and 10 miles to beautiful Lampasas. This guest lodge in the original 1960 homestead was restored in 2007 to a "Frank Lloyd Wright" appearance. Large outside porches overlook the Hill Country around Lampasas and the Fort Hood mountains. The house has 2 bedrooms, a bunk room, three big couches, and can sleep 8 to 9 persons.

The sights, sounds, and quiet of this Texas Hill Country paradise delight the guests. Guests can enjoy viewing Longhorn cattle and many species of wildlife such as deer, wild hogs, antelope and wild turkey as well as some exotics. One of the large porches on the house is screened in and ideal for relaxing and enjoying the view while another is perfect for cooking out. Guests can also enjoy walking, bird watching, running and hiking and biking on the roads, rock hunting in areas where there are lodges and interesting rock formations, as well as fishing in the catch-release pond.
