Deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, hidden away from the modern rushed world of the 21st century sits Stonewall Valley Ranch, where the deer and the antelope truly do roam in this “Home On the Range”.  From the rolling hills to the azure ponds dotting the range, Stonewall Valley Ranch is every bit a peaceful, working ranch where you can experience the true spirit of the Texas Hill Country.

The original 1927 homestead ranch house has been restored into a two-bedroom Fredericksburg Texas guesthouse complete with air conditioning, central heating, and indoor plumbing. It sleeps five to six guests with two queen-sized beds and a twin daybed/sofa. Two roll-away beds provide for additional accommodations. Children and pets are welcome. There is a full bathroom with a claw-footed tub and shower. The big country kitchen is stocked with a complete breakfast to enjoy at your leisure. The large front porch offers sweeping views of lush, green hills, lakes, wildlife, and brilliant stars at night.

See authentic ranch life as you see chores done by the “Stonewall Jacksons”. Whether it’s petting the Longhorns or feeding the buffalos, you will see the peacefulness of the Home on the Ranch surroundings. Fish in the nine stocked ponds for bass and catfish. Hike on the tranquil ranch trails. Horseback riding, group ranch tours, parties, and barbeques arranged by special request.
